PMD Analyzer
Nexus
The
Nexus - PMD is a new series of portable test equipment designed by PE.fiberoptics
to provide in-system PMD measurements. It allows Transmission suppliers
and Operators to measure the end-to-end PMD of systems with the minimum
of disruption. Using the standard light source, PMD can be evaluated in
the C and L Band, enabling the performance of modern 10 and 40Gbit/s WDM
systems to be predicted and optimised.
